One day at a time

Butchers

I was having a butchers outside the butchers. Mrs S was inside buying more of their fabulous ham and some other delectables, and Molly dog is taking the air which from this location must concentrate her mind.
I found the angles and shapes interesting. You will notice the newer-looking stonework - to the right of the arched ground floor window. This is because the building has been hit by passing log wagons on several occasions and has had to be reconstructed. The road, the B6320, is narrow here. Behind me are two 90 degree corners which tax car drivers more than wagon drivers. The wagons sometimes swing a bit wide after coming out of the second corner especially if they meet an oncoming vehicle. Today it was quiet because I assume everyone is in Hexham.
