Winter Wildlife

What a contrast to yesterday! It was dry and still so I had a lovely walk. This Brown Hare was lying in his form, probably thinking he couldn’t be seen but as the farmer had a late hay cut, and yesterday’s rain had flattened the grass, I managed to spot him. The buzzard was in his usual spot, and there were some Mistle Thrushes in another field - as I’ve been rather miserly with my extras this year, there is room for both of them.
