A Change in the Weather

Much the same place as a couple of days ago. Spot the difference!

A beautiful morning inspired me to get out with Meg there and then, leaving the seasonal preparations un-done. Blue skies were beginning to be encroached on by cloud in the southwest but the sun shone for most of the time we were out. Meg got to chase the ball occasionally and as it was mild she quickly got warm which led her to paddle in the cold river water. An extra pic of from the farthest point we reached shows the tidal bore making big ripples in a drainage channel that had been glassy still minutes before.

Home to lunch and assorted culinary activities. Turkey is thawed, stuffing mixed, giblet stock made. Those Christmas biscuits finally baked. Ruth and I prepared a tasty buffet tea which Jamie and Tilda joined us for - they’d been making Christmas cake at Jamie’s :-)

A gentle evening finished off watching things we could laugh at on telly. Nice things planned for tomorrow.
