Supermarket Brass Band

A local supermarket celebrating its 10th Anniversary with various attractions. Weather wasn't too good, so the band were placed just in the entrance, where there is a small café & snack bar. Different, wheeling the trolley around to the sounds of Oktoberfest!

Earlier the County Council Beaver Commissioner who we met earlier in the year when the problem first started came around to take a look. As agreed in the spring, the best thing is for him to get the parish council to place a large pipe at a certain height in the dam tp give the beaver enough water depth & let anything else flow out.

While he has the absolute power in such matters, these things need to be agreed with the parish council and landowners. Even I was surprised to find, a few days later, the dam had been completely removed by the parish council. I won't go into the politics! I have enough problems getting my head around UK politics without taking on even more dangerous stuff.
