15M protest against austerity in Barcelona, Spain

I popped out to Arc de Triomf and caught this snap of the iconic building obscured by a 'No Cuts' flag.

The latest in a series of protests in Spain against the austerity measures, today's march left me feeling a little sad. It felt jaded.

Two years ago I walked the same streets with the origina 15M and there were hundreds of thousands of people. Today, with the crisis worsening here in Spain, I think there may have only been 5,000 people.

Protest fatigue? Cuts fatigue? Or just fatigue? There's a helicopter up at the moment, and I don't know if the protest will spill over into violence tonight. I think everyone just seems too tired.
