Christmas

To give a potted plant can be risky. All of us are not "green thumbs". I myself keep saying that I am an "ink thumb" and do suffer when seeing plants wither away in my (non)care.

This poinsettia that was given to me by my dear cousin has so far lasted a day and a half, enough to be included in my thank-you-note.

However, I must admit that it adds a nice Christmassy color to my breakfast nook.
