Ice Dams!

My rarely used blow dryer was put to good use. Ice and snow from recent bitter weather froze in the downspouts.

With warming weather, the rain had nowhere to go except over the top. Jeff was concerned the gutters might pull away from the house.

Disaster averted! It was not a Christmas Eve to remember…
