Time For Cake

I got Kat to pose with the Christmas cake, just like I did when she made a Mother's Day cake almost 30 years ago. She's been making our Christmas cakes for several years now to her late Auntie's recipe. She bakes them in square tins but cuts sections off for those who just want small cakes. I couldn't fail to notice the ribbon was in her favourite colour!

We have had a lovely Christmas Day in Edinburgh with a midday Zoom to the other part of the family in Sheffield. Lots of food, drink and napping!
