Snow Craters ...

by our driveway this afternoon.  I don't know how they were formed, but they do have an intriguing look to them.

We had a quiet Christmas which included an afternoon walk.  It was cold but sunny and very few people or cars were about.  Otherwise, we read and talked with friends and family by phone.
