Water power

What a busy day.

Huge brunch followed by a trip to the Ludlow Spring Food Festival, where we tasted loads of loveliness and bought a fair amount of it, then ate some more! Then we went to the Shelsley Walsh Water Mill (it being national water mill open day or something similar) and met some friends there, and watched as the mill wheel turned and spun a number of cogs, in turn spinning millstones, grinding flour, which we left with a bag of.

Then home for a cuppa, popped in to see Tom and sample some of his homebrew (blackberry wine - delicious!) then drop Liz at the station, home and collapse, followed by a large local supper - local asparagus, bread purchased this morning, home grown poached eggs.

Phew!

Sometimes I wonder if the world could just slow down a bit, or is it spinning so fast because we're moving so fast on it?
