Chilling On Boxing Day

After the traditional breakfast of ham and eggs we went for a walk on Ham Wall nature reserve. There were large flocks of lapwing enjoying the sun until they were disturbed by a marsh harrier flying overhead just after I took this.

Plenty of wildfowl on the water and, in extras, a skein of Canada geese coming in to land and a grumpy looking grebe.

After all that fresh air, it was back for more board games and good food.
