Leftovers lunch!
An afternoon enjoying a book, as the weather was blustery and at times a bit wet.
Now it’s early evening after tea.
And a lovely friend of ours has been crossing the Pond and flying across the USA to Vancouver, from London Heathrow via Toronto, after a nightmare journey that must’ve felt like being in an episode of the old movie, Planes, Trains and Automobiles!
She is going to meet her young man’s family.
I’ve been following her journey on Flightradar 24. (I’m a plane nerd).
So pleased she made it!
