Day 30

Early start again for RM appointment. In and out in fifteen minutes then on to M&S to get pastries which we ate with a lovely milky coffee back at No1’s house. JC was at the gym and getting a few last minute Christmas presents and when he got back I headed back to Kent and they went to Bucks.

I drove home and made a Turkey curry for dinner when the boys got back from golf. I was tired and decided on a soak in the bath but the water was not very hot and it was a frustrating shallow experience.

No.2 stayed for dinner then headed back to London taking Malcolm with him. We have enjoyed having him ( and the cat)staying over Christmas but it’s all over now and back to just the two of us again.
