Crimson and Water

The heated birdbath continues to be one of the most popular spots for the little birds and beasties in the very cold weather. Sparrows were actually bravely bathing.

We have one of our dearest friends arriving(we hope) tomorrow afternoon from sunny Southern California. She spends the remainder of December and half of January with us usually, except for the extreme Covid years. I'm hoping her direct flight isn't affected by the weather backup mess, we shall see.
