A night out

A lovely evening spent with some of Mr HB's family in their Café and a delicious 4-course meal cooked by chef R of pate and sourdough toast, superbly cooked beef and marmalade lamb with all the trimmings, a choice of puddings and finally a magnificent cheese board but from which Mr HB and I abstained. 

My blip is of Mr HB's granddaughter Brooke with boyfriend Ed and Bayley. Brooke was the chauffeurse for the evening and kindly took us home about 10, then back to the Café to finish tidying up and take the others home as they will be up early tomorrow for business as usual in the Café.
We remember when G&R started the Café 6 years ago, it was all hands on deck with helping to paint and decorate etc. and then the first day of opening and wondering how it would go.  It didn't take long before they were doing a roaring trade and over the years they have expanded and become one of the favourite eating establishments in town.  Very proud of them.
