SoCal Christmas

I remembered back to my first Christmas in Southern California when I was 10 and how amazed I was that we could go to the beach on Christmas Day. That is not as unusual anymore, but the folks here on the sand (and in the extremely cold water) are most likely happy to be avoiding the nasty weather gripping most of the United States this holiday. We didn't venture anywhere near the water, but did enjoy a sunny, warm walk on the Oceanside, CA pier.
