A Brick load of bricks

Couldn't resist this one. I will confess to building up the 'wall' a bit for the photograph - we only actually have 200 bricks, but it was still a good ton or so including a few other bits of garden stone. 'Brick' our 28 year old Land Rover made no complaint apart from a slight sitting back and a bit more back swing on corners accompanied by the sound of falling masonry. It did tend to squash the local speed bumps rather than the bone-jarring usually experienced with her stiff suspension.

This is all for yet another summer project, extending a rather small retaining wall around the patio. A swift eBay sale resulted in the purchase of at least twice as many bricks as required for a small fraction of the price of a trip to B&Q. I feel a blip coming on ... in the distant future.
