Back on the fence

Aching, shivering, sneezing and going through the tissues at a rate of knots.  My friend up the road is in a worse state and has taken to her bed and called off hosting our New Year celebrations.

I dragged myself down to the hospital this morning for a Dexa scan to see whether my bones are deteriorating or stable.  I should know the results towards the end of January.

The male sparrowhawk was hanging around again this morning.  He's quite distinctive, having two white patches on the back on his head.
