Greater Spotted Woodpecker

I spent some time this morning watching the birds visiting the feeder in the garden of the exchange house where we are staying. This Greated Spotted Woodpecker visited a few times. I also tried out the 2x converter that I got for Christmas that screws onto the front of the lens but the results were very poor. I think it might have to go back.
I wonder if anyone has had success using them on a bridge camera? If so, I’d love to hear from you.

We had a lovely walk with family at Delamere Forest then a fabulous lunch at a pub nearby. It was great to catch up with everyone. You realise how quickly time is passing when the children have grown so much.
