Another lovely day :-)

Relaxing morning then off to D's sister Ele's for a family dinner.  

Andrew, Nikki and Esme were there too and as we always keep our family gifts until we're all together, it was Christmas Day all over again.

Andrew and Nikki's dog Bonnie was there too.  She's a recent addition to the family and it was our first time meeting her.  She's a rescue greyhound and she is lovely.  We know she's a bit shy and anxious so left her to come to us, and she did and although she was a bit wary of David (think it's his height) she was lovely with me and let me pet her for ages and kept coming back for more.  She's so gentle and so skinny!  That's her breed but we are so used to to big bouncy fluff ball! 

Anyway, we had a lovely day and Ele produced a delicious buffet dinner.  Esme was on good form showing us her gifts then snuggling on the couch with me whilst we took our traditional snapchat photos.  

The weather on the way to Ele's had been ok, a bit wet but not too cold, however by the time we left the temperature had plummeted and the earlier rain had frozen solid.  Took our time on the journey home and was thankful when we pulled into the driveway.
