An Orchid for the New Year.

This is the Dendrobium which grows on the north facing windowcill in our lounge.
It is a delicate Orchid which grows in east and south east Asia.
The genus has 800 species. It is nice to have one which flowers at this time of year.

I wish all my Blip friends a very happy and rewarding New Year.

We shall be in bed by ten o’clock.  As Mrs. K. Is allergic to alcohol and it seems not to mix well with one of my medicines the only toast we shall be having will have butter on it.
