Abject Failure

So I thought I'd make a flat cap for DH.  He can never find the 'perfect' one, they're never the right size.  So I bought a pattern and had a go.  Followed the pattern to the letter, and cut it out carefully, but then to make it warmer added extra padding in the crown.  Which made it too small.  Lesson learned.
