New knitting project

It's Blipless Monday today, so here's what I'm knitting now, although the red has come out a little brighter than it actually is. Mine on the left, the pattern on the right.

I have to have something to knit, otherwise I'd have nothing to take to the village knitting group this afternoon. It's not that I'm a knitting maniac, but the group is the only thing I've found to go to where I can be with other women
