Bring in the New!

This is as exciting as it's gonna get. I did leave the house for a few minutes this morning--we went down to the wharf to get a crab for dinner--but the very heavy rain kept me inside after that. This shop, Made in Santa Cruz, had a seasonal display visible through the raindrops, and I figured what the heck, at least it's not my living room again. Jim Phillips is an iconic local skateboard artist, and world famous for his screaming hand. Today it is yelling, "Happy New Year! Let's make it better than the last one!!". Be safe, boys and girls. Be nice to each other. Be kind.
