Flower power

This wonderfully over the top amaryllis belongs to my younger daughter but it is currently residing with us. It was given to her with the intention of it flowering around Christmas but bloomed too early in November. I had a couple of goes at snapping it then but didn't like the results.
Since then it has been 'resting' in her now empty bedroom. I was astonished when a week ago it began to shoot and now here it is with two splendid blooms - had to snap it this time just for the record!
