Happy New Year!

The start of a new Blipfoto year which also means 100 extra photos are available for use.

Hogomany was very quiet this year. Roseberry Cottage is occupied for a few days by AF’s daughter and son-in-law. Both have tested positive for Covid. Covid does seem to be making a comeback.

The rain has eased off and todays entry shows the water running through ‘The Policies’ from the field on the other side of the wall. 

It does look worse than it actually is. The depth is about an inch. It does not affect us adversely, as our floor level is 600mm above the ground level.

The water drains away out of the South Gate and floods the pavement and road. Water running off fields is a problem in the countryside.

We had a brunch rather than breakfast accompanied by a bottle of bubbly. 

Like many families we are talking via FaceTime, Facebook and other social media platforms. Exchanging New Years Greetings and forming plans for the coming year.

We have finished watching Harry and Megan on Netflix. They are much better off where they are. The relationship between some of the Newspapers and ‘The Firm’ and ‘The Institution’ is outrageous. The series is certainly worth watching and will cause many citizens in the Disunited Kingdom to question the future of the Monarchy, The Press and Politicians.

KCIII needs to take serious action on this relationship. Will he?

The mobile network seems to have recovered and the internet is working reliably.
