Alfie prepares for take off

Before I blipped this, T and I watched as Alfie walked along the mantlepiece, knocking over nearly all my Christmas cards - which I had so carefully arranged earlier in the day. After something to eat we watched Mrs Harris Goes To Paris, which was a great film for Hogmanay.

Alfie got very worried by the fireworks which were happening in the city centre. The booms were loud, despite the distance. He did eventually calm down, but it was quite a while after they had finished. Maybe I should think about giving him something next year.

There's an extra of Lexi flat out on the cat tree - and that was early evening.
