E-TYPE

It's Motorhead Sunday and we're starting the new year with a vintage Jaguar E-Type.  They also made a model specifically for the North American market with LHD and it was labeled XK-E as opposed to the British E-Type.

Manufactured by the Jaguar Cars Ltd company between 1961 and 1974.  Dunno the exact vintage of this one.

"With a new 5.3L Jaguar V12 engine - and the badge on the back to prove it - as well as improved brakes and power steering, the Series 3 E-Type managed 272 hp, more torque, and a 0–60 mph acceleration in less than seven seconds."   wiki

The 2-door coupe had an original MSRP of around $6,000 (£4,959).  This same machine today has a value of $108,000 (£89,271).  Pretty good investment if you were thinking ahead back in the 60s...and were a little clairvoyant.
