Ecce ancilla domini

The Chapel of the former Convent of the Sisters of Notre Dame at Cardross Road, Dumbarton. There is not much left of the former Convent chapel as I discovered after scrambling through the bushes to see it . It is in a terrible state through vandalism and has been ravaged by fire. A bricked up door had been demolished which allowed me to get a look inside for this blip . I imagine in its day it would have been quite striking considering its positioning on the hill top .

The Latin is written above the entrance and translates as " The annunciation "
