In full bloom..

..the roses in the front garden looking lovely at the moment but probably only for another few days as rain is forecast.  Our son and daughter in law arrived home from the UK today after spending Christmas with A's family in Germany.   It is so good to have them home,   Like  many young kiwis P went on his big OE, many years ago, found a good job  and never returned to live.    Unfortinately he broke his wrist after slipping on ice a couple of weeks ago so swimming at the beach is on hold for now.
