The first of thousands

It has been a while since we enjoyed a sunny day ..... last week in Glasgow was just so dull and damp ...... today in Fife the sky was a cloudless blue and there wasn't a cloud to be seen.

A clear sky often means frost and there was certainly plenty of that today and in the shaded areas there was no sign of any thawing.

We went to Cambo Estate for coffee and a walk in the woodland garden. You had to look closely but I did find a couple of early snowdrops. When we return in February the woodland floor will be turning into a white carpet.
