Harold Wilson PM 1964-1970 and 1974-1976

Harold Wilson is currently being portrayed by the actor Kevin R Mc Nally in the drama STONEHOUSE based on the true story of the MP John Stonehouse who faked his own death. The three part series is on ITV 1 this week.
I started my general nurse training on January 3rd 1971 and I remember  the Stonehouse story as it broke in the country but was after all a true scandal in its time all those years ago.
