Modest Beginning

This modest bedraggled daisy was the only wildflower, apart from the whins (gorse)which I Blipped at the end of December which I could find in bloom today. The very low temperatures, frost and snow of the last few weeks have killed off the even red dead nettle and groundsel which normally flower even in the depths of winter.
