Easternmost

Görlitz is Germany's easternmost town. It lies on the river Neisse across from the Polish town of Zgorzelec, which up until 1945 was part of Görlitz. Up until that point it was a single town with a shares history. Now the two are connected by a footbridge. Here we are on the Polish side looking back across to Germany.
