Fresh Arugula!

We still  have some arugula growing the greenhouse....so just before it got too dark to see out there, i harvested some for a salad tonight!!!   So wonderful....i usually think about it when it's already really dark and cold out there so pretty well give up on the idea...but i was on time today :)

Not much to report...had a lovely lunch at the Bean There and did some shopping!!

Reading a fabulous book...Wasteland by Corban Addison.....boy is it intense.  True story about the hog farming industry in North Carolina, being sued for the horrendous impact it has had for over 20 years, on the farms and families that live close to these hog farms.   Some of them have upwards of 15,000 hogs in a few barns!!!  It truly is eye opening and unbelievable.   Not sure how this will impact my love of pork tho :(
