Resting and snoozing….

Bryan the Birman is a very relaxed cat. He settled on this rustic seat for a snooze this evening. The wood of the seat originates from old wine barrels. I bought it at a “Garden Marlborough” fete years ago. The cats, rather than humans, use it frequently. Maisie was in big trouble early this morning. She found, then rolled in human excrement. It was all over her face, right ear, chest and back including her harness. A friend helped me get her into a deep part of the river to clean her up enough to walk her home. Once there she was tied up for the big clean-up. Hosing, Scrubbing, Shampooing and then towels to dry her. . What a mission.
