Gowff

Found a little tin full of ball markers when tidying out a cupboard (also known as shoving things in different boxes). 
I had a habit of buying a ball marker as a momento wherever I visited. These are mostly Scottish and Irish (North): I have several from Spain and Portugal, but I've no idea where they are stowed. Just thinking that I've never played in England, which is lamentable. 
Reminds me of a phrase often used at Muthill on the greens; 'dead sheep' = 'still you'. :-)
