Fun at the funicular

Today we are in Lisbon, a place we have never visited before. It’s always nice to visit a new city.

We walked many miles, taking in the many grand squares and buildings, made all the better by the glorious weather. We were however questioned by some Italian tourists (wrapped up in big coats), as to why we were only wearing t shirts and shorts ‘you are very brave’ … it was only about 70 degrees!

Anyway, we went up the funicular, which I had expected would have taken more than about a minute, but hey it was fun to ride one of the worlds’s oldest funicular railways.

Having a great time, sea day tomorrow as we head towards the Canary Islands.
