Herring Gull

There's almost always a gull on the roof of a house down the road.

You might remember the long running saga of my cataract op that began in June. The first op was done with an incorrect lens and turned into a bit of an emergency, so had to be removed and redone a couple of weeks later. This meant I needed stitches in that eye. Finally, today, those stitches were taken out. The eye feels a bit scratchy and sore but should heal in a couple of days. Other good eye news - I should get the second eye done on 20 January. I do hope nothing goes wrong this time.
