Kilchurn Castle in May!

Woke up to cold temperature of 1degree this morning & looked out window to Ben Nevis & the other mountains there was a fresh fall of snow (quite a lot actually!) is this really May! We have had snow in June before, however this has been a very very long winter! Back to wearing 4 layers of clothes!!

Drove south with visitors to Inverary Castle with a photo stop at Kilchurn Castle at Loch Awe, you will notice the snow shower on mountain!
Heavy squally showers then when we visited Inverary the sun came out & blue sky, looking out the window it was lovely!
Visitors wanted to see the Castle as it was featured in the Christmas episode of Downton Abbey!

Some of the shrubs are flowering, bluebells are in flower on the banks of the road! First ones I've seen this year! Yay!
I've not had time to comment for a few days, will rectify that soon!
