Allotment Leeks

After bowling at lunch time I went along to the allotment to drop off some food waste and to see if there was anything to harvest.  The low temperatures and ice from a few weeks ago have pretty much turned most of the vegetables to mush.  I dug out a few leeks and one of my allotment neighbours gave me some parsnips.  We had a walk around the perimeter of the site where the damage from last week's heavy rain was evident.
