The sun shone at the start of our walk on the heath this morning but it soon disappeared, the wind got up and the drop in temperature was quite noticeable.   We still enjoyed our walk through beautiful countryside though and Luna was happy to play with several dogs we met on the way and to dig holes in the sandy soil.    
This picture wasn't planned, but out of all taken today I thought it shows the beautiful fir trees with the carpet of rusty bracken and the long winding track through the heathland.
I washed several weeks worth of dirt from the car this afternoon whilst Luna chased the soap suds down the drive and then lay down to watch the world go by.
