Blackcap

.......... I was pleased to see this lovely little chap in the garden when I looked out. I rushed to get the camera, remove lens cap, check settings - bird still hopping around .......... I finally lift the camera up to my eye and something spooked everything in the garden, probably a Sparrowhawk ......... there was an empty garden and one or two unladylike words were uttered, so I put the camera down again to make my breakfast.
Two minutes later he was the first to return, generously posing for my blip, meaning I could eat my breakfast without constantly thinking I might be missing something, lol ;-))
