Today we were at Mount frankland. It was a bit of chaos on the ropes which is not ideal when you are rock climbing.

Using guidebooks and a climbing website we had identified climbs that we could complete. First the beginners couldn't find the access to the higher level to set up technically easier climbing. Then an axoerineced climber taking a rope up the wall didn't feel comfortable going up or down so the others had to go back down to get them a rope. Then there was miscommunication about what to do with the rope which took away climbing time. Then later myself and another experienced climber went back to climb more and they wished to bail halfway.

As hectic as it all was, everything was done safely and without so I'll take that any day. Though clearly communication can be improved before during and after climbs.

After this we drove to broke inlet, which involved some 22km of sandy 4WD tracks! I got immediately bogged and had to be pulled out, but after that I knew how to manage the revs on the car. The camping spot at the end is beautiful!
