Poorly Lamb

A sad day today. Yesterday we notice Roy's face was swoollen and as he had had this before we decided to take him to the vet also we found a lamb who could not stand up as there was something wrong with his back so we took him with us as we did not have the guts to put him down ourselves and we knew it would be a horrible slow death for him. At the vets Roy got some antbiotics for his face and the vet looked at the lamb and said he had an abcess in his spine and he could do nothing for him. Antibiotics will not help as the nerves get damaged and he just would not recover so it was decided that he would put him down. This is a photograph of him in the back of the car.
We then went off to Inverness return a pair of boots that The Crofter has been wearing as the have disintegrated and he only bought them last September. We eventually managed to get a refund and another pair of boots that should last a bit longer. We then went off to look at washing machines in Currys and decided onthe one we wanted. We then went to Morrisons and bought gift vouchers as you can get money off petrol, 10p for every £100 so that came to 25p off a litre. Back to Currys and told them which washing machine and guess what they didn't have one in the store so they sold us the one on display. I argued to get more off but they said no. They put the voucher through the till and then pulled the machin out and discovered it was damaged at the back. We hummed and hawed then decided to take it but they would have to take something off for the damage, so we got 20% off. I went to pay the balance and discovered my M & S card wasn't in the purse as I had left it in the Go shop where we bought the boots. Back to the Go shop and it was there in the till. The dogs needed a drink so asked them to fill up some bottles for us but they gave us a bottle of water that the kept for dogs. Then we had no dish to put the water in so off to Lidl to see if they had anything that would be suitable but nothing so then on to the Co-op and we got two little picnic bowls (don't seem to stock dog bowls). Finally on our way home. Horrendous rain from Ullapool to Tarbet with a lot of surface water. Check lamb that was born yesterday and The Crofter thought it had fallen off the cliff and was lying dead so he went out in the rain to check it but all was fine as the white thing he saw was a rock.
I am exhausted.
