Emma D's diary

At home: sing a rainbow too x

Patchy ground, more rain, wintry wind, frosty hailstones and a beautiful rainbow.

Summer is trying hard to squeeze through the stubborn cold. The grass cut in the driving rain today. It cuts through your face. Thank goodness the mower is sharp. It finds the damp cold grass hard work. Grass stubbornly clinging to the blade, like the stubbornly wind clinging to my skin.

The rainbow is hope. The colour like seeing an array of bluebells in a forest is reassuring that something other exists. Sometimes you need that x
