Testing the depth...

...for Silly Saturday...

The unwary might think this is just a puddle - but in fact it's a tractor rut made by slurry tankers, which seem to be transporting stuff hereabouts... 
Roy had a broddle, and measured the rut as at least a foot wide, 8 inches deep in water, and then into mud - so you wouldn't want to be pulling off to the side to let people pass - that would be very silly... It was a good job he had his bogtrotters on...

In extras - a smart gate in the sunshine from our route - we timed it nicely again - and three tiny figures in a wall that I have blipped before... they have lasted well ;)
