Only The Lonely

Today we enjoyed the brisk temperatures around -8C with quite strong wind making it feel considerable colder. Took this shot when the sunset was approaching. Today the sun was up 6 h and 13 minutes - 25 minutes longer than at the winter solstice about two weeks ago. The days are clearly getting longer :-)

Seeing the lonely person close to the beach and the empty bench brought the song in mind, assisted by Bruce Springsteen ("... Roy Orbison singing for the lonely..." in Thunder Road).
