A long day

A very wet and shortened walk this morning, I did have to concede to the rain by wearing some shooting leggings over the shorts! Not totally comfortable today but improving, it would have been my late father's ninety fifth birthday. Badger thought I needed some comfort and a couple of times came and placed his head on my lap, as pictured above.
I did manage to shop and cook tea before Mrs A S finished work, will see how go / bad sleep will be........
