Grasshopper?

I think it is some kind of grasshopper. Another insect today, though this one's not quite as cute as Master Mantis from yesterday.

There seems to be an awful lot of large insects and creepy crawlies where I am which is a remote location out of the city.

I've seen barbecued grasshoppers for sale before and regardless of the fact they are a rich soucre of protein I've resisted the tempation to try them.
